**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** As a Machine Operator, you will set up and operate CNC machines, specifically Okuma Lathe machines and Seiki Mills. Your role will involve reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings. You will be responsible for measuring and inspecting finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards are met. Additionally, you will monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate CNC machines (Okuma Lathe and Seiki Mills). + Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings. + Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards. + Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and efficiency. + Perform routine maintenance on machines and report any mechanical issues. + Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations. + Complete production logs and documentation accurately and on time. + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. **Essential Skills** + Energetic and willing to train. + Desire to pursue a career in machining. + Ability to lift 50lbs. + Proficiency in English communication. + Excellent blueprint and schematic reading skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience operating CNC Mills and Lathes. + Previous experience in a machine shop environment. + Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. + Experience with hand tools, power tools, and general production. **Why Work Here?** This position offers the opportunity to be trained in the highly sought-after skill set of CNC operating.
