About the Role
We are hiring a motivated 3rd Year Apprentice Electrician to join our growing electrical team. This position is ideal for someone currently enrolled in an apprenticeship program who wants steady work, hands‑on experience, and opportunities to advance toward becoming a licensed Journeyman. You will work under licensed electricians, assist with installations, troubleshoot electrical systems, and learn advanced skills in both commercial and residential environments.
Responsibilities
Assist Journeyman and Master Electricians with daily tasksInstall, repair, and maintain electrical systems, fixtures, and equipmentPull wire, bend conduit, install panels, outlets, switches, and lightingRead and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematicsFollow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelinesMaintain tools, equipment, and a clean job siteTroubleshoot basic electrical issues under supervisionDocument work performed and communicate progress to supervisorsQualifications
Currently a 3rd Year Apprentice in a registered electrical apprenticeship program2–3 years of electrical field experienceBasic understanding of NEC codes and electrical safety practicesAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipmentReliable transportation and strong work ethicAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditionsWhat We Offer

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr.
