Position: .NET Web Developer

Location: Labman HQ, Seamer, North Yorkshire

Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 (based on experience)

Employment Type: Full-time

This role is office based in Stokesley, North Yorkshire. We do not offer hybrid or homeworking opportunities.

What You'll Do:

Design and Development: Build web-based software applications for Labman's cutting-edge robotic automation platforms and internal systemsQuality Coding and Design: Develop software that meets Labman’s high-quality coding standards, conduct code reviews, and contribute to system architecture and design decisionsTask and System Management: Actively participate in planning and organizing tasks within management frameworks, while supporting and enhancing existing software systemsTeam Collaboration and Support: Foster professional growth through knowledge sharing and mentorship, provide effective support to internal and external users, and collaborate within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team environmentCultural Commitment: Uphold and embody Labman’s core values and behaviours in all aspects of work

What You'll Need:

Minimum 2 years of experience in developing web applications using Microsoft .NET Core / .NET 6.Proficient in C# with strong development skillsSolid understanding of software development principles, including separation of concerns and object-oriented programmingDatabase development expertise, including experience with MySQLStrong English communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentationDatabase development expertise, including experience with MySQL

Desirable:

Proficiency in JavaScript, JQuery and Vue.js, with experience in MongoDB or other document/timeseries databases. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Linux for containerized application management.Experience with MVC Razor and/or Razor Pages for web development.Strong UI/UX design skills with a focus on creating user-friendly interfaces. Experience using source control systems (SVN / Git) and working with CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development workflows.Ability to work within the Labman ISO9001 framework, ensuring adherence to strict coding conventions.
