With our global reach, we ensure the global supply chain has access to the Flash memory it needs to keep our world moving forward. **Job Description** We are seeking a highly motivated final-year Bachelor’s degree student to join our IT Manufacturing Execution System (MES) team as an Intern. This internship provides hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and supporting software automation applications that support manufacturing and business operations. The intern will work closely with experienced IT professionals to analyse user requirements, develop scalable and reusable solutions, and support day-to-day system operations. Exposure to Microsoft .NET (C#), Oracle databases, and modern data exchange technologies will be provided. This role offers valuable learning opportunities within a structured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environment while contributing to initiatives that improve quality, yield, cost, utilization, and cycle time. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: + Assist in the design, development, testing, and support of IT Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications to meet defined business and operational requirements. + Collaborate with IT team members and stakeholders to gather user requirements, perform basic analysis, and propose suitable technical solutions that emphasize reusability, scalability, simplicity, and standardization. + Support daily operations by assisting in investigating system issues, participating in root cause analysis, and helping to implement preventive actions through IT solutions. + Follow established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, ensuring activities in each phase are properly documented and executed according to specifications. + Help in supporting production and key initiatives, contributing to organizational goals related to quality, yield, cost, utilization, and cycle time. + Participate in the definition, construction, implementation, and support of IT Manufacturing Execution System (MES) satellite systems under the guidance of senior engineers. + Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations as required to support development and operational activities. + Continuously develop technical skills and domain knowledge while adhering to IT standards, policies, and best practices. **Qualifications** REQUIRED: + Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn new technologies. + Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage assigned tasks within given timelines. SKILLS: + Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. + Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. + Basic to intermediate knowledge or hands-on experience in software development using Microsoft .NET framework, particularly C# (.NET). + Fundamental understanding of Oracle database concepts, including SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures. + Familiarity with XML, Web Services, and JSON is an added advantage. **Additional Information** Sandisk thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
